Data at COP30: Digital Rights and Environmental Protection
Objective: The project aims to compile and facilitate access to Data Privacy Brasil’s initiatives related to COP30, developed as a follow-up to the project Climate, Land Use, and Data Flows. These initiatives include a series of interviews with experts conducting research at the intersection of digital rights and environmental protection, as well as reports from the pre-COP30 event Between the Environmental and the Digital, Data’s participation at COP30, and discussion papers.

Description
Since 2022, Data has been working at the intersection of digital rights and environmental rights, focusing on data protection, public transparency, and public digital infrastructures. With support from iCS, we are participating in COP30 alongside specialists from the digital field, fostering partnerships in digital security, citizen data generation, and climate disinformation.
