Cyber ​​intrusion in Brazil: perspectives between digital rights and cybersecurity

On May 21, 2024, Data Privacy Brasil, represented by Vinicius Silva, participated in the panel “Cyber ​​intrusion in Brazil: perspectives between digital rights and cybersecurity”, an activity proposed by the Rights on the Internet Coalition at the Internet Forum in Brazil (FIB), which took place in Curitiba.

The proposed activity promoted a union between technical research on digital rights, represented by organizations that are researching the topic in Brazil, such as Data Privacy Brasil, the Recife Institute for Research in Law and Technology (IP.rec), Internetlab and Transparência Brasil, and more technical research resulting from the area of ​​computer science. The main objective was to understand the scope of the problem, analyzing its legal and ethical ramifications, but also the underlying technical and technological implications.
