Jair Bolsonaro’s government illegally spied on thousands of opponents

On January 10, 2024, Rafael Zanatta, co-director at Data Privacy Brasil, gave an interview to the television channel TeleSur, a multi-state television network for the Americas, based in Venezuela. The report addressed the investigations by the Brazilian Federal Police that confirmed that the government of Jair Bolsonaro spied on thousands of opponents. In addition to these revelations, a plan to assassinate a Supreme Court justice as part of the failed coup d’état of January 8, 2023, was also reported. Check out the full interview.
