His research focuses on the intersection of personal data protection and public-sector power, particularly in the areas of security and surveillance. He is a researcher at the Legalité Research Center and previously worked as a researcher at the Digital Studies Laboratory (LED/UFRJ).
He has been the Asymmetries and Power Coordinator at Data Privacy Brasil since 2023 and has been a researcher at the organization since 2020.
